Support for social inclusion in Devnya Municipality

The project proposal aims at increasing the social and professional integration opportunities of representatives of vulnerable groups in the social economy sector and their sustainable realization on the labor market, contributing to the achievement of the strategic goals of OPHRD in the implementation of the Europe 2020 strategy in the field of labor employment, the fight against poverty and social exclusion through the creation of a new social enterprise on the territory of the Municipality of Devnya. It will operate in a municipal building and will be a children's center with areas for activities, games and a sweetshop. In it will be employed persons corresponding to the target group of the program. With its establishment, 16 persons of the target group will be employed. At the same time, there is no such center in the Municipality and there is a great public interest, to be able to hold crafts in modern and folk dances, wrestling, martial arts, theatrical mastery, painting, etc. It will benefit both from free and paid services and through them the center will self-finance. The project envisages activities that will contribute to the development of the social entrepreneurship and sustainable realization of the persons from the target group: -Providing psychological support to persons from vulnerable groups; -Equipping and adapting newly created jobs; -Establishment of a new social enterprise by decision of the municipal council under the procedure under national law; -Ensuring the employment of 16 people from the target group for a period of 12 months; -Employment of at least 8 people for a period of 6 months after the completion of the project activities. The activities set out in the project proposal are directed entirely at disadvantaged persons on the labor market and unemployed. After psychological support, the persons in the target group will be employed in the new social enterprise for a period of 12 months within the framework of the project.
