Development of social entrepreneurship in Popovo municipality

This project proposal is aimed at providing support for the social inclusion of vulnerable groups of people by creating the right conditions for their professional integration in the sphere of the social economy and increasing the activity of the existing social enterprise for landscaping and urban development at the municipality of Popovo. The implementation of the project will create suitable conditions for professional integration and will facilitate the access to employment of vulnerable groups from Popovo municipality in the sphere of the social economy. Within the project, the following activities will be carried out: 1. Providing employment for a period of 12 months to 27 persons from the target group, 2. Providing mentors to the target group, 3. Providing training for acquisition of professional qualification in the profession "Landscaping worker", specialty "Landscaping and floriculture" for 27 persons included in the subsidized employment; 4. Purchase of equipment needed for the newly created jobs. Expected results: keeping the social enterprise for landscaping and urban development at the municipality of Popovo functioning, increasing the number of employees by keeping at least 50% of the newly employed people after the end of the project. Through the development of the social entrepreneurship and the realization of the project will be achieved significant social impact by supporting people from vulnerable groups in Popovo municipality. The policies of social inclusion objectives at local, regional and national level will be achieved, covering all vulnerable communities and individuals in a need of support. Meeting this objective will contribute to active implementation of two of the objectives of the EU strategy "Europe 2020", the fight against poverty and social exclusion and unemployment.
