Establishment of social enterprise in the town of Zlatograd

The project plans the creation of a social enterprise in the town of Zlatograd, which will provide subsidized employment for 12 months of 32 persons from vulnerable groups and will continue to operate sustainably after the project, keeping the employment of at least 16 employees from the target group. The social enterprise will be established within the structure of the project applicant as the branch of the association in the town of Zlatograd will start to function as a social enterprise through this project. The idea for creating of a social enterprise is prompted by the local needs, considering the high unemployment in the municipality of Zlatograd and the existence of a social problem, related to the large number of vulnerable groups without income at risk of social exclusion and poverty. The social enterprise will develop the following activities: "public laundry with dry cleaning" and "development, landscaping and cleaning of green areas." Target group of the project are 32 persons in unequal position on the labor market, incl. unemployed persons with permanent disabilities; unemployed persons over the age of 54; long-term unemployed; unemployed persons with basic education and without professional qualification; unemployed single parents (adoptive parents) and / or mothers (adoptive parents) with children up to 5 years of age. The implementation of the project will enable people from the target group to get employment and the necessary psychological support and motivation. In accordance with the requirements of the new jobs they will acquire key competencies or vocational education, which is a key prerequisite for their successful long-term integration into the labor market and full participation in society life. In frame of the project will be delivered equipment consistent with the specifics of the newly crated jobs and will be implemented measures for popularization of social entrepreneurship and the social effect of the new social enterprise.
