“Creation of a municipal social enterprise for sheltered employment within the green economy of Dryanovo municipality"

The project “Creation of a municipal social enterprise for sheltered employment within the green economy of Dryanovo municipality” provides new and sustainable model for stimulating the access to employment and social inclusion of disadvantaged groups at the labour market of Dryanovo municipality through development of landscape and maintenance activities of parks and public green areas as well as implementing construction and repair works for the improvement of the green system of Dryanovo municipality. The main target groups of the project are people with disabilities and disadvantaged people at the labour market which need support and sheltered employment in order to overcome social exclusion. Through the creation of a municipal social enterprise for sheltered employment 16 new jobs for 3 people with disabilities and 13 people which are disadvantages at the labour market, typically unemployed people with a low education, single parents of children up to 5 years and unemployed people over 54, will be created in order to improve their lives. The main reason for the project is the lack of supportive services for social inclusion of three clearly defined groups of disadvantaged groups at the labour market of Dryanovo municipality – unemployed people with low education, unemployed single parents of children up to 5 years and unemployed people over 54 years. The main activities included in the project are: psychological support and motivation of disadvantaged groups for access to sheltered employment; social and professional integration of people from the disadvantaged groups to employment; establishment of the production facilities and provision of equipment and materials for the 16 new job places; provision of work mentors for the newly employed people; support for the creation of 16 new jobs within the new municipal social enterprise; social marketing and popularization of the activities of the social enterprise.
