Equal chances for children and young people with hearing impairment and their families

Longstanding experience in supporting hearing impaired children and their families identifies as a main problem the formation of social integration and personal initiative skills in people with disabilities and their families. Through this project, ARDUS offers an innovative model for improving the quality of life of people with disabilities by establishing an active mechanism for cooperation with stakeholders who are involved in the professional realization of people with hearing impairment, concurrent work with children and young people with hearing impairment, and their families in identifying their individual needs, stimulating self-informed decisions, personal formation, and building advocacy skills. Individual consultations will be provided to young people with hearing impairment related to their learning process, opportunities for continuing education and professional realization and to their families - opportunities for rehabilitation and inclusive education.
