Socio-economic Integration of Marginalized Communities and Improving Access to Education - Antonovo

The project is innovative for the municipality of Antonovo. It is an integrative one, including eligible partners - "Six Hawks", Antonovo, "Center for Interethnic Dialogue and Tolerance" AMALIPE, "Hristo Botev - 1921" and "Krepost" PC Stevrek. The project proposal envisages the implementation of activities for activation of economically inactive persons, psychological support, motivation, social and professional integration of persons from the target groups with a focus on the Roma community promoting their participation in the labor market and creating skills for successful coping with the work place and adaptation to the working conditions when joining them in employment. Key Competence Training 4 "Digital Competence" is foreseen, which will enable the trainees for future realization in the labor market. With the development of information and communication technologies and the increase in the amount of information available on the Internet, there is a need to have specific knowledge and skills to work with the existing technological infrastructure of each one of us. Employment will be provided to:  23 people, of whom: • 20 people from the municipality; • 3 people will be hired by KP Fortress.  2 labor mediators from the municipality  2 Educational mediators from AMALIPE. Another major activity is raising awareness of the social and health rights of marginalized groups by conducting information campaigns. Promoting family planning changing practices that have a negative impact on the social inclusion of young people from marginalized communities, enhancing health culture. It is envisaged to support children and students from ethnic minorities in the municipality of Antonovo in the field of education as well as working with the parents from the Roma community and the majority to increase the interest in education and their involvement in the educational process in order to achieve better results . The project has a duration of 31 months.
