"For a better life in the municipality of Rakitovo"

The project "For a Better Life in Rakitovo Municipality" aims at creating a model for promoting partnership and cooperation between local authorities and Roma communities through the participation of all institutions, partners and associated partners working for the integration of these target groups in Bulgarian society. The project proposal envisages the implementation of activities for activation of economically inactive persons, psychological support, motivation, social and professional integration of persons from the target groups with a focus on their participation in the labor market and the creation of skills for successful work placement and / or adaptation to working conditions when engaged in employment. Key Competence Training 4 "Digital Competence" is foreseen, which will provide opportunities for the trainees of the target group for future realization in the labor market. In view of the development of information and communication technologies and the increase in the amount of information available on the Internet, there is a need to have specific knowledge and skills to work with the existing technological infrastructure of each of us. The employment of 35 persons from the target group will be ensured by the municipality of Rakitovo.  Another major activity is raising awareness of the social and health rights of marginalized groups by conducting information campaigns. Promoting family planning changing practices that have a negative impact on the social inclusion of young people from marginalized communities, enhancing health culture. Support is provided to children and students from the ethnic minorities in the municipality of Rakitovo in the field of education and work with their parents to increase the interest in education - family support of their children in kindergartens and beyond to achieve better results.
