Integrated approach to ensure the permanent integration of marginalized communities in Boychinovtsi municipality

The project “Integrated Approach to Ensure the Permanent Integration of Marginalized Communities in Boychinovtsi Municipality” aims at creating a model for the promotion of partnership and cooperation between local authorities and Roma communities through the participation of all institutions, partners and associated partners working for the integration of these target groups in the Bulgarian society. The project proposal envisages the implementation of activities for activation of economically inactive persons, psychological support, motivation, social and professional integration of persons from the target groups with a focus on their participation in the labor market and the creation of skills for successful work placement and / or adaptation to working conditions when engaged in employment. Key competency training 1 - communication in native language, key competency 4 - digital competence and training for acquiring professional qualification "Worker in landscaping" will be provided which will provide opportunities for the trained persons from the target group for future realization at labor market. At least 45 persons from the target group will be employed by Boychinovtsi municipality. Another major activity is raising awareness of the social and health rights of marginalized groups by conducting information campaigns. Promoting family planning changing practices that have a negative impact on the social inclusion of young people from marginalized communities, enhancing health culture. It is planned to support children and students from ethnic minorities on the territory of Boychinovtsi Municipality in the field of education and work with their parents to increase the interest in education - family support of their children at school and out of school to achieve better results.
