Socio-economic Integration and Measures to Improve Access to Education for Vulnerable Groups in Septemvri Municipality

The project "Socio-economic Integration and Measures to Improve Access to Education for Vulnerable Groups in Septemvri Municipality" is subordinated to the idea of ​​establishment of a durable model for cooperation at local level between the community and all institutions and organizations for achievement of social inclusion and reduce of poverty for marginalized groups among the Roma community. For this purpose, comprehensive measures and implementation of an integrated approach in the field of employment, access to social and health services, access to education and training, and development of the local community are envisaged. As a result, we expect some of the marginalized representatives of the Roma community to be motivated to register in the Labor Office and to include in programs and employment, to improve their access to social and health services by establishment and functioning of an integrated health and social service and by providing individual counseling and social-health mediation, to improve their access to education and training through early childhood education services, additional Bulgarian language trainings, additional courses for children at risk of dropping out, reintegration into the education system, provision of an appropriate educational environment, community and parenting work, mediation; community development and overcome of negative stereotypes through the establishment of a local platform, systematic work based on community tools and social mediation, presentation of Roma culture and cultural diversity of the local community.
