COMPASS- Integrated measures for social inclusion in Municipality Tundzha

Project "COMPASS - Integrated Measures for Social Inclusion in Municipality Tundzha" offers a complex model of providing integrated services for socio-economic integration which will reflect Bulgarian Roma, children and families at risk of social exclusion, vulnerable persons a social situation living in poverty, endangered by discrimination, lack of income, low levels of education and remoteness from adequate health and social services. The territorial scope of the interventions will include guaranteed access to local community services and resources to all 44 rural settlements included in the Municipality Tundzha, which have the characteristics of the project target group. The project offers differentiated and tailored approach to the specifics of the municipality of Tundzha, directed to settlements with compact Roma population and other persons at risk of social marginalization: in the villages of Kabile, Drajevo, Zavoi, Hadzhi Dimitrovo, Veselinovo, Boyadzhik, Botevo, Robovo, Mogila, Kukorevo, Krumovo, Hadzhi Dimitrovo and others. The envisaged integrated measures and interventions will be implemented in the following areas: improving access to employment and education and improving access to social and health services.The project will offer employment to 34 individuals from different target groups for 34, 30 and 12 months according to the specifics of the job and the position at which they will be recruited. Hourly will be engaged and 8 health professionals.The planned duration of the project is 34 months.The delivery of services to the community center - COMPASS will be 30 months. More than 2,000 people will be affected by the project activities. For the implementation of new and integrated approaches for solving the problems with employment and education deficiencies, as well as improving access to social and health services, community activities and initiatives to overcome negative stereotypes will involve four partner organizations.
