Social integration is a prerequisite for the successful and sustainable development of Bulgarian society. The integration of Roma and vulnerable Bulgarians belonging to other ethnic groups is an active two-way process of social inclusion aimed at overcoming the negative socio-economic characteristics and prosperity in society. The purpose of this project proposal is to create conditions for the equal integration of Roma and Bulgarians in vulnerable position with other ethnic groups in the social and economic life by ensuring equal opportunities and equal access to opportunities, goods and services, participation in all public spheres and improving the quality of life while respecting the principles of equality and non-discrimination. The project implements a targeted integrated approach to the citizens of vulnerable groups in the municipality of Novo Selo, which is implemented within the framework of the more general strategy for combating poverty and exclusion - Municipal Action Plan. The plan aims to analyze and identify the preconditions and plan the activities in pursuance of the integration policy aimed at vulnerable groups living in a similar situation so as to achieve social cohesion.The implementation of a municipal policy for the integration of marginalized groups is a continuous process, a tool for harmonizing local initiatives and the needs of the residents of the municipality in order to improve the welfare of these groups. Expected results: Education - Covering and retaining children and students in the education system, providing quality education in an educational environment; Health - Ensuring equality in access to health services for disadvantaged people belonging to ethnic minorities; Enhancing health knowledge and providing access to health information. Employment: Improving Roma access to the labor market and raising the labor market the share of those employed among them.
