Integration of vulnerable groups and improvement of access to education in the municipality of Ihtiman

The project "Integration of Vulnerable Groups and Improving Access to Education in Ihtiman Municipality" is realized through complex measures and implementation of an integrated approach under 2 operational programs - OP "Human Resources Development" and "Science and Education for Smart Growth" on application guidelines under the scheme: BG05M9OP001-2.018 "Socio-economic integration of vulnerable groups. Integrated measures to improve access to education "- Component 1. This project proposal aims to contribute to the improvement of quality of life, social inclusion and poverty reduction, the sustainable integration of the most marginalized communities, Roma, and is aimed at supporting social inclusion by providing access to education and training. The project activities will be implemented on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria in the municipality of Ihtiman. The duration of the project is 31 months. The main activities to be implemented under the HRD OP are 7 and the number of NRAs is 6. They will be implemented by the applicant Ihtiman Municipality and by the project partners - Rodolubetz Association, Jaguar-02 Ltd. and Radost Kindergarten in Ihtiman. Through these activities, the results will be achieved: Roma who, when leaving the operation, have started to look for a job, either have jobs or have been qualified or are included in social and health services and children from ethnic minorities (including Roma) in the education system. Representatives of the target group in the project are people from the Roma community. The number of persons in the target group included in the HRD OP project is 260 people. The number of persons from the target group included in the project under the NDIR OP is 64 children from ethnic minority groups. The personal approach and the correct attitude on our part will lead to sustainability of the results.
