„SOCIO-ECONOMIC AND EDUCATIONAL INTEGRATION OF ETHNIC MINORITIES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ISPERIH”

The project proposal includes activities for activating the economically inactive persons,motivating the unemployed for active behavior in the labor market and involving in employment representatives of the marginalized groups of the population of the municipality,which will lead to the acquisition of real labor skills,increase their competitiveness in the labor market environment,overcoming their social exclusion and improving their quality of life (Strand 1).Under Strand 3,the project provides for the appointment of a health mediator to map the neighborhood „Zapad“ /health status,pregnancy,children up to 3 years of age/;conducting free preventive examinations and organizing campaigns to explain social and health rights representatives of vulnerable groups in the community.Promoting active citizenship in the processes of planning and implementing integration policy and capacity building to create an environment conducive to the integration of marginalized Roma communities are the activities under Strand 4. The project includes the improvement of the use of Bulgarian language by pupils for whom it is not mother-in-law and the detention of children at risk of dropping out of school;creating conditions for improving mutual acquaintance and communication between children from different ethnic groups;involving parents in various joint activities to attract them into the educational process and to establish partnerships with school authorities;to reduce the level of ethnic intolerance;to overcome negative attitudes towards Roma and to create was disposed to build and nurture a tolerant relationship between children from different ethnic groups. The project proposal contributes to improving the quality of life,social inclusion and poverty reduction as well as to the sustainable integration of the most marginalized communities,including the Roma in the Isperih municipality through the implementation of integrated measures and the implementation of an integrated approach.
