"Equal opportunities for minorities and vulnerable groups - overcoming negative stereotypes and supporting personal development"

The project envisages the creation of "Center for the Development of Vulnerable Communities" (CDVC),which will provide services and activities,including support for improving access to employment,education,social and health services as well as measures for the development of local communities and overcoming of negative stereotypes.With the implementation of the current project proposal, the target group will have equal opportunities,which will contribute to increasing their motivation for an independent and decent way of life.With the implementation of the project Kyustendi Municipality will support the objectives of the strategy of OPHRD and OPSESG by implementing complex actions to ensure employment,improve the educational environment for active social inclusion and reduce poverty and social exclusion of people in the target group living on the territory of the municipality.The implementation of the activities in the project proposal will be in line with and will contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the main strategic documents:The National Strategy of the Republic of Bulgaria for Roma Integration 2012-2020,The Regional Strategy and the Municipal Plan for the Integration of the Roma;National Strategy for poverty alleviation and promoting social inclusion 2020 and The Municipal Strategy for the Development of Social Services.The envisaged measures aimed to socio-economic integration of marginalized communities.The CDVC multidisciplinary team,in cooperation with project partners,will implement an integrated approach combining interventions in the following areas:improving access to employment,education,social and health services,and providing normal housing conditions.By implementing the activities set out in the project in Kyustendil Municipality will be created conditions and prerequisites for investment in integrated measures aimed at improving the socio-economic integration of marginalized communities to fight poverty and social exclusion.
