"Integration of vulnerable groups in Dve Mogili municipality"

This project is implementing a Municipal Roma Integration Plan 2015-2020 and is linked to the main strategic objectives of government policies towards marginalized groups - improving living standards by including them in the labor market, measures to promote health culture, inclusive education , overcoming their isolation through active social behavior and tolerance on the part of civil society, thus directly responding to OPHRD and OPSESG priorities. The envisaged activities under OPHRD are: - heading I. "Improving access to employment" - heading II. "Improving access to education" - heading III. "Improving access to social and health services"; - heading IV "Development of local communities and overcoming negative stereotypes" The envisaged activities under the OPSESG are: - additional Bulgarian language training for children for whom the Bulgarian language is not mother language - Providing psychological support to children in two kindergartens - encouraging parents' participation in the education process - work with parents, regardless of their ethnic origins, to explain the benefits of educational integration and the acceptance of difference - overcoming negative public attitudes based on ethnic origin and cultural identity. The project is in line with the main vision of the Dve mogili Municipality policy for improving the living environment and enhancing the citizens' European self-esteem and its implementation is aimed at: • Creation of structures for activation of the Roma community • Improving the adaptability and quality of life of the target groups • Needed for social support • Overcoming the isolation of marginalized groups and their integration into society • Motivating and stimulating people at risk to cope with their problems • Activation of civil society for tolerance, empathy and social status towards disadvantaged people.
