Together we find integration solutions

The project is aimed at supporting the educational integration of students from ethnic minorities in the municipality of Kaspichan. It has been developed in line with the Municipal Roma Integration Plan 2014-2020, one of the main tasks of which is to ensure equal access to quality education for students from ethnic minorities. The project includes all schools located on the territory of the municipality as partners. The activities of the project are aimed at preserving and developing the cultural identity of ethnic minority students; to improve the educational environment in school by building extracurricular forms in which pupils from different ethnic groups work together and develop skills for tolerant behavior and students for whom Bulgarian language is not mother tongue improve the level of proficiency in Bulgarian language; to conduct additional activities with drop-outs of ethnic minority students. 16 extracurricular forms will be unveiled in the schools involved in the project, bringing together 175 pupils from different ethnic groups. There will be 8 campuses with educational purpose and 2 study excursions for pupils from different ethnic groups during the two years of project implementation. 267 pupils from ethnic minorities (including Roma) participating in educational integration measures and 228 ethnic minority students (including Roma) integrated into the education system were key to the implementation of the project. Expected results: Education - Covering and retaining children and students in the education system, providing quality education in an educational environment; Health - Ensuring equality in access to health services for disadvantaged people belonging to ethnic minorities; Enhancing health knowledge and providing access to health information. Employment: Improving the access of Roma to the labor market and increasing the share of the employed among them.
