Socio-economic integration of vulnerable groups in the Municipality of Sliven

The project proposal is developed in full compliance with the application guidelines. It will develop and expand the activities and results, achieved under other projects, programs and measures, funded by the national budget, the EU funds and other sources. The planned activities are focused on preventing social exclusion among Roma children through investments in child development and variety of services for parents support. All planned activities are mobile and integrated. They include services in social and healthcare sphere and help for pre-school preparation. At the same time the planned activities provide cooperative work of different specialists with the target groups. The project also includes an information campaign to raise public awareness and form a positive attitude among the Roma community towards the planned activities. The proposal includes a motivation campaign and trainings, focused on the adults and aiming to provide opportunities for professional qualification and future employment. The Municipality of Sliven is an interested party in the project, given the fact that the implementation of the project will create preconditions for reduction of unemployment.
