"Together we can do more"

This project proposal aims to increase the employment levels, the educational, health and social status of the most deprived citizens of the municipality as well as the access to education by means of an integrated approach, accompanied by activities for activation and development of the Roma community as well and to create a favorable social environment for the implementation of the integration policy. Thus, the activities under three of the HRD OP and SESG OP axes will be implemented in the same settlements and neighborhoods, covering the same citizens in need. In particular, we envisage increasing employment levels in the Roma community through community-based work on field to mobilize long-term unemployed and inactive people; qualification according to the stated needs of the employing partners; subsidized employment to acquire the necessary work habits, work discipline and practical skills. The project will contribute to raising the health and social status of Roma in the municipality by expanding the scope and capacity of existing services so that they could reach the most marginalized Roma families as well as through multi-sector services. An integral part of the project's approach in this area will be the support for periodic health campaigns and surveys in the Roma community, as well as community monitoring of the provided health, social and educational services. The activities included in the SESG OP component are concentrated at pre-school age and the transition between kindergarten and school, ensuring full coverage, quality and school readiness, preserving cultural dignity by introducing intercultural elements into the educational process. The component also includes activities with parents that prevent their children from attending a regular kindergarten and activities with parents from tinkling and the majority to prevent educational segregation
