"Socio-economic Integration of Vulnerable Groups in the Municipality of Cherven Bryag"

The following project proposal’s main goal is to unify two investment priorities -“Human resources development” program’s „Marginal communities’ (such as romas) social and economic integration“ and “Science and education for intellectual growth” program’s № 9ii „Marginal communities’ (such as romas) social and economic integration“ through intelligent, stable and uniting growth achievement in a few key areas: job market (including youth employment, training and development, unemployment decrease measures), securing qualitative education equal access and creating for ethnic minorities children integration (roma children, envolved in school education increase, tolerance training and steady cultural integration results achievement – roma culture and traditions preservation opportunities, informal education and culture access), social involvement (including integration, deinstitutionalization, modern social services development and social economy) and local communities modernization. Cherven Bryag municipality consists of 14 populated places, from which 12 villages and 2 towns with mixed ethnic structure. There are separated roma communities in most of the municipality places. There are some social and economic issues in the predominantly minority-populated zones, such as: working habits conditions and job opportunity constrains, steady unemployment, bad living conditions, low education level and low work force qualification level, early children and youngsters school fall out. The following marginalization communities risks emerge during a social and economic municipality analyses: Nonequivalent job market position; Isolated community everyday life; Large birth rates; Steady lack of ownership and earnings etc., therefore the project is solely directed to significant and steady results achievement in Cherven bryag municipality’s social and economic integration sphere.
