New care in the municipality of Troyan

This project proposal supports the process of deinstitutionalization of childcare and guarantees the right of every child and youth to access quality care and community service according to their individual needs through the provision of the social service Day Care Center for Supporting Children and/disabilities and their families on the territory of the Municipality of Troyan. The implementation of the project will ensure the provision of the social service, whose infrastructure is built with funds under Operational Programme "Regions in Growth". The distribution of the new social service is in line with the priorities, objectives and measures set out in the updated Action Plan for the implementation of the National Strategy "Vision for Deinstitutionalization of Children in the Republic of Bulgaria". The social service will be provided with a capacity of 30 day care and 60 counseling for representatives of the target group of children and young people at risk, including disabled and their families. The center will provide full-day, part time and hourly services in a specialized and mobile environment, namely: information and counseling, day care, therapy and rehabilitation, skills training, support for work skills acquisition, according to the individual needs of consumers. The project has a duration of 52 months and provides for the following activities: conducting procedures for selection of contractors under the procedure of the Public Procurement Act; selection and recruitment of the social service provider; equipment and furnishing of premises in the service; purchase of a specialized transport vehicle; provision of the social service Day care center for children and/or young people with disabilities and their families. Organizational and management, information and communication activities will also be implemented. The project will be implemented in the framework of an associated partnership with MLSP, MES, MH, SACP and ASA.
