"Provision of a social service" Day center for children and / or young people with disabilities "in the town of Karnobat"

The project aims to support the process of deinstitutionalization of childcare, including for children with disabilities, guaranteeing their life in a family environment and equal access to social inclusion services. Last but not least, the implementation of the project aims to prevent risks and create the conditions that will best meet the individual needs of children and guarantee their rights and interests. In fulfillment of these goals, the Karnobat municipality will reveal the social service in the "Day center for children and / or young people with disabilities", which will provide a complex of social services - daily and part-time, such as care, rehabilitation, therapy, counseling , information and support, including carers for children with disabilities in the home environment, mobile services, early intervention of disability, leisure time and personal contacts. The implementation of the project will contribute to ensuring a safe and secure environment in which each child in the target group has the opportunity to develop their potential and acquire social competences and skills for self-dealing in life, practical and social autonomy, development of knowledge and intellectual potential .. The planned activities are aimed at providing quality social services in the community for children and / or young people with disabilities meeting the statutory quality standards for social services for children as well as supporting families in coping with child development problems by providing interdependence of social, health, educational and other support measures. The planned number of participants is tied to the capacity of the service, namely 30 children and / or young people at risk, including disabled and their families. As a result of the implementation of the activities, we expect an accessible social service to ensure children's right to family environment and access to quality care and services according to their individual needs.
