"Continuous Support for Deinstitutionalization of Children and Young people with Disabilities and Their Families in a Day Center "Nadezhda"- Town of Harmanli"

The procedure for granting financial assistance is aimed at the successful continuation of the process of deinstitutionalization by replacing the institutional model of care with care in the family or close to the family environment in the community and guaranteeing the right of every child to access quality care and community services according to their individual needs. This procedure will provide a complex of social services that create conditions for a full service of the day-time consumers related to meeting the daily, health, education and rehabilitation needs as well as the needs of organizing leisure and personal contacts . Disclosure of the service will provide a safe and secure environment in which each child and young people will have the opportunity to develop their potential and acquire social competences and skills for self-dealing in life, practical and social autonomy, development of knowledge and intellectual potential. This procedure builds on the already completed procedure for building a Day Care Center for Children with Disabilities and Their Families, located in the central part of the town of Harmanli, which enables both the development of children and young people as well as the active inclusion of their parents in public life in order to overcome the social exclusion, professional realization and improvement of the quality of life of the whole family.
