Home and support for every child

The project „Home and Support for Every Child" aims to create and implement a sustainable model for the deinstitutionalization of care for children deprived of parental care and at-risk children, through the opening and provision of new residential services in Dupnitsa Municipality - CHF for Children and Transitional Housing for children from 15 to 18 years. The CNST service will support the provision of a close-to-family environment for 12 children and Transitional Housing for 8 children. The project proposal is in response to the main objective of this Component 1 operation, which is "to continue to support the process of deinstitutionalization of childcare placed in orphanages and closure of these institutions". The implementation of the procedure will ensure the provision of new services in the community for which adequate infrastructure has been built up with funds from the Operational Program "Regions for Growth". In this connection, the Municipality has been provided with the means to build the necessary social infrastructure for the opening of the two new residential services through the projects BG16RFOP001-5.001-0052-C01/05.04.2018 "Give a hand" and BG16RFOP001-5.001-038-C01/29.12.2017 "Home and family for every child from Dupnitsa municipality". Continuing the already achieved infrastructure results, now the intentions of Municipality of Dupnitsa are orientated towards ensuring social inclusion, equal access and protection of the children accommodated in the HCDPC and the children at risk from the community. The deinstitutionalization of care for these children will fulfill one of the most important conditions for guaranteeing the rights of children who, for one reason or another, are at risk or cannot be raised by their biological families. By participating in the processes of opening and providing new residential services, the Municipality fulfills its basic commitment to protect and to guarantee the rights of the child in all spheres of public life.
