Equal access to services of every child

The project “Equal access to services of every child” aims at forming of two new social services for children and families on the territory of Lom Municipality, namely: - Daily center for supporting disabled children and their families with capacity of 30 children; - Transient home for children aged 15 to 18 years, with capacity of 8 children; In order to guarantee the right of children for a family environment and access to quality services and cares, according to their individual needs the following activities will be implemented: 1. Staff selection and hiring. The staff will be engaged in the social services “Daily center for supporting disabled children and their families” and “Transient home for children aged 15 to 18 years” 2. Activities of moving children from the target group and accommodating them in a service - type “Transient home for children aged 15 to 18 years” 3. Providing a service “Daily center for supporting disabled children and their families” 4. Providing a service “Transient home for children aged 15 to 18 years” The project activities realization will create conditions for providing new community services on the territory of Lom Municipality, for which an appropriate infrastructure has been created with funds from Operational program “Regions in growth”. The project will be realized in accordance with the Updated plan for action for implementing of the National Strategy “Vision for deinstitutionalization of children in Republic of Bulgaria”, Community and family support services map and a Residential services map under procedure BG16RFOP001-5.001.
