Complex for integrated social services for children and youth in Municipality of Vratsa

Main objective is to provide support for the extension of the deinstitutionalization process by realizing of models for quality alternative care for children and/or youngsters housed in a Home for Children Deprived of Parental Care „As.Zlatarov“(HCDPC)in Vratsa, including for children with disabilities.Project activities are:preparation and conduction of public procurement,staff selection and hiring,activities for relocation of children and youngsters of target group and their placement in new opened services,staff training and supervision,provision of social services“Center of family-type accommodation for children” (CFTAC),“Transitional home for children aged 15-18”(TH),“Monitored home for youngsters aged 18-21”(MH),“Daycare support center for children and young people with heavy multiple disabilities and their families”(DCSCCYPHMDTF)and“Center for Public Support”(CPS),including the provision of emergency services for children or children and parent/persons in part of CPS (up to 4 seats). Target groups are:of CPS-children and families at risk;children removed from specialized institutions and placed in residential services.At present,42 children with disabilities use residential services.Potential users are also children from HCDPC-Vratsa with 43 children and youngsters;of DCSCCYPHMDTF-children with heavy multiple disabilities and their families using the CFTAC;of CFTAC-children deprived of parental care,exhausted with options for staying and returning to biological family, placement in a family of close, relatives or foster family;of TH-children aged 15-18y derived from specialized institutions; of MH-people aged 18-21y who leave specialized institutions, TH and PH and are about to lead an independent life.The need that will be satisfied by implementation of the project is target groups to receive accompanying public social services.Expected results are closure of HCDPC-Vratsa and expansion the scope of social services on territory of The municipality of Vratsa.
