Providing new social and integrated health and social services for children and families

This project proposal aims to provide support to the process of deinstitutionalization of child care by providing appropriate social services in the community. Its implementation will contribute to the achievement of the main goal of the National Strategy "Vision for the deinstitutionalization of children in the Republic of Bulgaria", namely "Guaranteeing the right of children to a family environment and access to quality care and services according to their individual needs." During the implementation of the project proposal the following social and integrated health and social services for children and families will be started and provided for a period of 34 months: Center for public support with the possibility of emergency admission; Day center for support of children with disabilities and their families; Day center for support of children with severe multiple disabilities and their families; For the needs of the Centers, a suitable vehicle will be purchased, as well as additional equipment and furniture for the premises where the new services will be provided. For quality and effective provision of social and integrated health and social services for children and families, staff will be hired after selection. In order to ensure transparency in the implementation of the project activities and to promote the objectives and activities of the European Union, the European Social Fund, the HRD OP and the current project proposal, information and publicity activities will be carried out. All budget items, where applicable, will be subject to award under the PPL. The duration of the project will cover a period of 40 months.
