Day center for children with severe multiple disabilities in the town of Kazanlak

This project proposal supports the process of deinstitutionalization of child care and guarantees the right of every child and youth to access quality care and service in the community, according to his individual needs, by providing the social service Day Care Center for children and youth with severe multiple disabilities and their families on the territory of Kazanlak municipality. The implementation of the project will ensure the provision of social services, whose infrastructure is built with the financial support of the Operational Program "Growing Regions" 2014 - 2020. The provision of the new social service is in accordance with the priorities, objectives and measures set according to the maps. of the services (the Map of the services for support in the community and in the family environment and the Map of the resident services) from the Updated action plan for implementation of the National strategy “Vision for deinstitutionalization of children in the Republic of Bulgaria”. The social service will be provided with a capacity of 30 places for day care and 60 counseling for the representatives of the target group of children and youth with severe multiple disabilities and their families. The center will provide full-time hourly services in a specialized environment, namely: information and counseling, day care, therapy and rehabilitation, skills training, support for skills acquisition, etc., according to the individual needs of users, staff selection, Providing consumables, materials and necessary tangible fixed assets. The project will be implemented in an associated partnership with those involved in the deinstitutionalization process with the following institutions - Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Health, State Agency for Child Protection and Social Assistance Agency.
