Socio-economic integration of marginalized communities in the municipality of Velingrad

The project proposal of Devi EOOD in Velingrad includes a complex of measures for the integration of marginalized groups, improved access to social and health services of the Roma from the territory of the municipality. The project includes measures for activating economically inactive persons and motivating active labor market behavior, including including the employment of persons from the target groups. Community work is planned to form a supportive environment, focusing on parenting and joint activities with their children. A factor for the integration of Roma minorities is the development of local communities and the overcoming of negative stereotypes and for this reason Devi EOOD focuses on activities related to the preservation and promotion of Roma identity.
