"PILOT INTEGRATION MODEL - STRELCHA"

The overall objective of the project is to improve the quality of life and create favorable conditions for sustainable integration of socially excluded Roma in the Municipality of Strelcha by piloting an integration model - Strelcha. The project focuses on the social and health problems and the employment of the target group, as well as activation of the local Roma community. The target group includes 36 people from the Roma community of Strelcha Municipality. The main focus is the piloting of an innovative social service - Social And Health Consultative Center, which will individualise the needs of the target group and will be provided in the form of different services: social, health, psychological and legal. The persons using the service will be directed to motivation training - 36 persons, training on key competencies - 36 persons, and professional qualification - 16 persons. An initiative group of the Roma community will be set up, which will simultaneously support the implementation of the project through various activities - public debates and thematic discussions. Expected results: 30 Roma, when completing the operation, start looking for a job or are working, or are in education / training, or have acquired a qualification or are involved in social and health services. The project is aimed at contributing to the achievement of Priority 3 of the Strategy for reducing poverty and isolation by increasing economic activity and employment among the representatives of marginalized groups living on the territory of the LAG municipalities Panagyurishte, Strelcha and Lesichovo, inclusion in education / training or qualification and improving access to social and healthcare services.
