Support for the integration of marginalized communities in the municipality of Garmen

The overall objective of the project is to fully participate in the public life of the municipality of Garmen of persons from vulnerable ethnic communities with a focus on Roma through a complex intervention aimed at overcoming poverty, improving the quality of life and socio-economic integration. Specific objectives: - Improving career opportunities by raising personal potential, enhancing skills and competencies, and delivering services aimed at improving access to employment. - Increasing the employment and living standards of Roma people by including them in subsidized employment. - Creating the right conditions for the sustainable integration of Roma excluded and / or threatened by exclusion by improving their access to social and health services in the community. The project will include 25 persons representing the Roma community on the territory of the Municipality of Garmen who are socially excluded or threatened with exclusion due to factors such as early drop out of school, low education, long-term unemployment and lack of working habits, limited employment opportunities , poverty, poor living conditions, lack of access to health, social and educational services. To meet the complex needs of the target group, it is envisaged that, depending on their individual characteristics, they will be covered by activities to improve access to employment (activation, job mediation, professional information and counseling, provision of key competence training and inclusion in employment) and access to social and health services. Within the 6 months of the project, 18 persons of the target group will be employed. Inclusion in employment will create prerequisites for active labor market behavior, acquisition of professional and work skills and improvement of living conditions by ensuring financial stability for families.
