Socio-economic integration of marginalized communities in Krumovgrad Municipality

Among the ethnic minorities in the Krumovgrad municipality are various poverty-enhancing factors - early drop out of school, low education, long-term unemployment and lack of working habits, limited employment opportunities, poor living conditions, lack of access to health, social and educational services. There is a need for a comprehensive anti-poverty intervention to help minority families provide opportunities for social inclusion and development for their children. A complex response to these problems will be the project "Socio-economic Integration of marginalized communities in Krumovgrad Municipality" Objective of the project proposal is the socio-economic integration of marginalized population groups by improving access to employment, social and health services and creating the conditions for overcoming negative stereotypes. The project is aimed at identifying persons from the target group, depending on the specific characteristics of the individual person will be activation activities, improving access to employment, improving access to social and health services. For unemployed and inactive persons, individual and group tools will be used to attract and motivate them to register at the Bureau of Labor and encourage them to be included in employment. Prerequisites for employment will be created; the formation of active behavior on the labor market; acquiring work skills; improving living conditions by solving the problem of employment. According to the specific needs of the target group representatives, work will be done to improve access to and provide quality social and health services. A mediator and a medical specialist will be engaged to reach the representatives of marginalized groups. The most motivated persons in the target group will be appointed to different structures of the Municipality of Krumovgrad for a period of 6 months.
