Crisis Center for People "TURNOVGRAD"

The project proposal foresees the establishment of a Crisis Center for People I in Veliko Tarnovo, 8 Dragan Tsonchev str., with capacity of 15 people and a Crisis Center for People II I in Veliko Tarnovo, 6 Dragan Tsonchev str. with capacity of 15 people Crisis Center is a complex of social services for people, which are provided for a period of up to 6 months. The services are aimed at providing individual support, meeting people’s daily needs and legal counseling or social and psychological assistance when immediate intervention is needed, including mobile crisis intervention teams. The provision of the social service Crisis Center would result in accomplishing the following main activities: crisis intervention, individual support, improvement or formation of skills for social inclusion, individual and group work for integration of people into the labour market and active involvement in public life. The constructed buildings (passive house type) under the project: Building a Crisis Center for People under OP "Regions in Growth" 2014-2020 and the delivered equipment and movable property fulfil the regulatory requirements and are suitable for providing the social service of resident type Crisis Center. The floor planning of the two crisis centres includes the following premises: a reception room; bedrooms; bathrooms; a living room, a kitchenette and a dining room; therapy rooms; an office and a bathroom for staff; medical office and an isolation room; storage and laundry room; a garage. The project TURNOVGRAD Crisis Center for Individuals envisages the recruitment of staff for the provision of resident-type social services, training and supervision. The implementation of the Project envisages the establishment and operation of social services in the community of resident type Crisis Center for People I and Crisis Center for People II.
