Center for work with street children

The project provides for the opening of the social service center for working with children on the street.The centre will provide a complex of social services related to the prevention of children's fall on the street and dropping out of school,social rehabilitation and integration of children, living permanently or partially on the street, through individual work with the child and his family,family counseling and support, medical and sanitary-hygiene services,literacy of children,training in parenting skills. The main purpose of the specialists in the service-social workers, psychologist, medical professional and educators will be to provide protection and protection of children at risk, providing support to parents for raising the child in a safe and stable family environment, Providing daily care and ensuring equal access for each child to the entire network of health,social and educational services and acquiring social skills.The provision of the project-by-service aims to provide safe and secure environment to stimulate the personal,physical and mental development of each child;satisfying the basic needs of the child and creating conditions for normal development,according to age and interests;prevention of social exclusion of children at risk;prevention of antisocial and criminal activities; protection of children at risk from all forms of exploitation of labour and violence, including traffic;restoring and/or strengthening the relationship and relationship between children and their families;preparing and implementing the child's integration in family and/or close to the family environment.The realization of the project is in the implementation of national policy and is part of the overall process to promote the social inclusion of people from vulnerable groups.The planned activities in the project will protect the public interest and will meet the needs of the population,measures aimed at improving the quality of life in the Municipality of Kyustendil.
