Opening of a social service "Center for work with street children" in the Municipality of Pazardzhik

With the preparation of the project proposal Opening of a social service "Center for work with children on the street" CWCS by procedure BG05M9OP001-2.29 intervention byOPHRDwill be combined with the projects under procedureBG16RFOP001-1.001-039underOPDG 2014-2020group of activities"Social Infrastructure"with additional support through"soft"measures-detection and operation of“CWCS”.Social service will be opened in an existing building,which will be repaired,equipped and furnished under Priority Axis 1 of OPDG.The project proposal"Disclosure of a social service CWCS"will be implemented within 18 months,with the following activities:Selection and hiring of staff engaged in the CWCS service;Training and supervision of staff who will provide the service;Opening and functioning of the CWCS service.A management team of four people will be appointed to implement the project activities.Information campaigns will be conducted to promote the project,one at the start and one at the end.Information materials meeting the requirements of the Unified Beneficiary's Manual will be prepared.With the opening of the CWCS,social services will be provided for a period of no more than 1 year for a child,related to the protection and support of children at social risk by providing day care.Conditions will be provided for equal access of every child to the entire network of health,social and educational services.The capacity of the CWCS will be 30 seats.The target group includes children from 7 to 14 years old and are:children from socially disadvantaged families;children living permanently or partially on the street;children not covered by the education system or dropped out of it;children from families with reduced parental control;socially neglected children.The consumers will be mainly from the settlements of the municipality,at free capacity children from settlements in the district will be accepted.A car will be purchased for the needs of the social service CWCS.
