"Opening of social service "Shelter" for adults in municipality of Pazardzhik"

In the current conditions of health- demographic and economic crisis and unreformed health and education system, the need for introcution of alternative social services aimed at sustainable and lasting overcoming of a high concentration of economic, natural and social problems is becoming more acute. The procedure will support and complement the draft procedure BG16RFOP001-1.001-039”Implementation of integrated urban renewal and development plans 2014-2020” by OPDG. A social infrastructure will be built in the municipality of Pazardzhik under the procedure BG05M9OP001-2.29 “Integrated actions for sustainable urban development” in the municipality of Pazardzhik will be combined with intervention under the OPHRD support for the actual provision of social services with complementary support with “soft” measures – conducting and functioning of social service “Shelter for adults”. The service is included un the national map of social services. The social service “Shelter for adults” will be unveiled in a newly built equipped and furnished building by OPDG in the town of Pazardzhik with capacity of 25 seats and target group – 18 – year olds left homeless, sleeping on the street and without relatives. For management, organization and reporting of the project proposal a team of three people will be formed - Manager – accountant – 1, Human resources and technical assistant – 1. A team of four people will be selected through selection for the management of the social service Shelter for adults as follows : Manager -1 , social worker -1, Nurse -1, Sanitary officers and kitchen worker. The users will receive food – breakfast and dinner provided by a catering company. Information materials will be prepared to popularize the project, two press conferences will be held – initial and final.
