INTEGRATED ACTIONS FOR SUSTAINABLE URBAN DEVELOPMENT

The project envisages the opening of a social service in the community - Center for work with street children with a capacity of 15 , which will support children at risk and their families in the municipality of Panagyurishte. Centerusers will be children identified as neglected, for whom a lack of parental or other substitute care and control has been established. The creation of the MDGs will ensure greater diversity and quality of social services in the community. Opportunities for protection and social rehabilitation of children at risk will be improved. The implementation of the project will expand the range of social services, which will contribute to the mission of the Municipality of Panagyurishte to act as an engine for local development of social services and a unifier of efforts in this direction to all stakeholders. The project proposal will support joint and coordinated actions between two operational programs - the Operational Program "Growing Regions" and the Operational Program "Human Resources Development" for prevention and prevention of the causes of poverty and social exclusion, in particular children and their families in risk living in the municipality of Panagyurishte. The staff be selected - 8 full-time positions, according to the Methodology for the number of staff in social services. The staff will undergo two days of training, one group and 8 individual supervisions. The activities envisaged in the project will lead to prevention of children falling on the street and dropping out of school, social rehabilitation and integration of children living permanently or partially on the street, through individual work with the child and his family, family counseling and support, medical and sanitary -hygienic services, children's literacy, training in parenting skills. In this way the municipality will meet the needs of the population by providing protection and care for the child, according to his individual needs and in his best interest.
