Provision of social services in the Center for temporary accommodation / CVN / in the town of Dupnitsa.

The subject of the project proposal is the provision of social services in the Center for Temporary Accommodation / CVN / on the territory of the Municipality of Dupnitsa, Dupnitsa. The financing of social services in CVN meets the public need arising from one of the functions of the municipality as a public entity of local government, namely - social inclusion and care for people at risk. The provision of the services is an obligation of the municipality: according to art. 18a of the LSA, the municipalities are responsible for the management and provision of social services, activities delegated by the state and local activities. This fact is extremely important in terms of the opportunity provided to municipalities to develop and manage services for disadvantaged people based on the specific needs of the population of the municipality. As such, they have the obligation to plan, manage and determine what social services to be provided on their territory at the local level (in accordance with the LSA and the Regulations for its implementation). In support of the above, the Municipality of Dupnitsa has a specific investment intention and the will to provide social services in a Center for Temporary Accommodation / CVN / with a capacity of 10 seats, as a place to live for the homeless for a period not exceeding 3 months within the calendar year. , which if necessary can be extended up to 6 months, assistance for inclusion in training and retraining courses and / or for finding a job, as well as for social adaptation of consumers.
