Fostering the social inclusion of adult people with disabilities in the municipality of Sevlievo.

The main objective of the project is to ensure the social inclusion of people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups from the municipality of Sevlievo by improving their opportunities for independent living, increasing their motivation and supporting participation in employment. Specific objectives: 1) Improving the knowledge and skills of people with disabilities and creating opportunities for employment; 2) Providing motivational and psychological support to people with disabilities; 3) Social inclusion of people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups through initiatives for active participation in society. Project activities: 1) Identification of representatives of the target group for activities and trainings participation. 2) Motivational and psychological or other type of support for the target groups according to their individual needs. 3) Providing trainings for acquiring key competences under the European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning. 4) Initiatives for active participation of people with disabilities as well as other vulnerable groups in society. Results: - Provided supporting environment for adults with disabilities and their families in Sevlievo municipality; - Improved conditions for development of the life potential of adults with disabilities and opportunities for their social integration; - Provided psychological assistance and support to disabled persons and their families; - Fostering the social inclusion of people with disabilities through conducting and participating in community initiatives; - Conducted trainings for acquiring key competencies for social integration, motivation and engagement in labor, establishing working habits, teamwork and others that will benefit people with disabilities when they are able to work; - Assistance in building labor and social skills and ensuring employment conditions; - Achieving a positive social effect on the labor market in the municipality of Sevlievo.
