Complex of integrated services to overcome social exclusion and improve access to employment

Improving access to employment and providing social and employment opportunities for people with disabilities as well as returning to the labor market family members of carers for dependent members / children are one of the measures for their integration into public life, to overcome their social exclusion. As an opportunity for social inclusion of children, incl. with disabilities, is the provision of social and educational services to improve their quality of life, and for carers for dependent family / child-to facilitate access to the labor market. The project proposal is aimed at meeting the specific needs of eligible target groups in this procedure: 20 children at risk, incl. with disabilities and 20 families with children at risk, incl. with disabilities in 5 small and geographically remote settlements (village of Belgun, village of Septemvriytsi, village of Travnik, village of Chelopechene, town of Kavarna) of Kavarna municipality, targeted area with limited access to social services, population with marginalized communities, high unemployment and economic migration, the risk of raising children in poverty. The project methodology includes a complex of 5 interrelated activities for: providing services for social inclusion of families and children at risk, including disabilities; motivational and psychological support for the target groups; training to acquire key competencies; improving access to employment of carers for dependents in the family; initiatives to inform and provide opportunities for active participation in society of people with disabilities as well as other vulnerable groups. It is envisaged that the activities will be implemented by applying an individual, complex and multicultural approach with the effect on the target groups to develop skills and competences for independent living, to adopt positive behavioral patterns leading to social inclusion and labor market activity. The duration of the project is 17 months.
