Innovative social practices to support the labor and personal realization of people with disabilities and their families from the Kuklen municipality.

Kuklen Municipality has a population of 6431 inhabitants, 600 of them are disabled people, as evidenced by a reference to the Rhodopes Regional Development Agency. Only 50 people are involved in the Independent Life project, and those working as personal and social assistants are not sure about their jobs after the entry into force of the Personal Assistance Act of September 2019.In December, a project funded by the Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration for 110 elderly people with disabilities, the same has no municipal funding for 2019, the necessary for state funding of the activity has not been undertaken. The target group, mostly in working age, is deprived of social support services. The existing social services have insufficient capacity for Kuklen, and 5 villages are missing from the municipal center. The project proposal is motivated by the described needs of the target groups. We propose the introduction of innovative practices with accessible and mobile social services, which also offer the possibility of active inclusion in the social life by acquiring new knowledge and skills for appropriate realization. At the same time, our other target group - family members of carers - are empowered and prepared to take a more active position on the labor market.Removing them from isolation allows them to use their hidden resource for the benefit of the whole society. The complex service we are looking for funding includes the following supporting activities: motivational and psychological support, training for key competencies, developing a catalog of opportunities through an electronic platform - innovative marketing approach.Other Innovative Practices: Creating a methodology for assessing specific competencies and developing tailor-made tailored training programs in key competences. The equipment office of the project provides conditions for free access to all services and the possibility of self-information in the networks.
