Social integration of people with disabilities in the life of the community

“Social integration of people with disabilities in the life of the community” implements actions aiming to improve the quality of life and encourages the social integration of people with disabilities aged 18 years and above and the people taking care of them. The activities address and respond to the individual needs of the service users. Providing health and social activities, psychological support and consulting, sessions motivating and encouraging the access to employment and applied activities, all result in an active inclusion and encouragement of the equal opportunities of job seeking and integration of the people with disabilities on the labor market. Their motor potential is opened and developed, they acquire abilities and skills to live an independent life, they upgrade their competences, their motivation for independency is growing, they have a will for a professional purpose and development, people with disabilities receive help in accepting their health issues and to focus their positive thoughts and forces into actively integrating themselves into the community. The project offer has an initiative to inform and introduce the opportunities of the people with disabilities and their positive role in the community, aiming to break the stereotypes and change the approach and attitude of the community and employers towards them. The project’ services are intended for people with permanent disabilities aged 18 above and their families.
