Full-bodied life in the sociaty

People with disabilities are among the largest social groups at risk of social exclusion. This is particularly true for small municipalities such as Belene, where employment opportunities are limited, and for people with disabilities as well as for their family members caring for them, the risk of social exclusion is quite real. The Belene Municipality's intentions are to use the existing Diabetic Club structure, to attract other disability organizations and provide them with comprehensive intrigued care that will enable the people involved to actively participate in the social life of the community, and also on the labor market.Through the implementation of the activities in the present project proposal targeted actions will be provided to expand their possibilities for independent and independent living and to increase the motivation and opportunities for participation in the employment of 100 vulnerable persons from the municipality of Belene.The project is aimed at people with disabilities and caregivers living in all settlements in the Belene municipality and provides for the following activities: providing social, health and educational services to 100 persons with disabilities, increasing motivation and psychological support to include them for inclusion in employment, to provide key competences, to provide job support, and to organize an information campaign to inform the public and work menting their opportunities.The expected results are at least 100 disabled persons and their family members caring for them to receive social services, at least 50 persons with disabilities and members of their families looking after them have started looking for a job or have a job, including self-employed persons.
