Socio-economic integration of marginalized communities in Isperih municipality

This project proposal addresses the problem of low economic activity among vulnerable ethnic communities in the Isperih municipality, with an emphasis on the Roma community. This problem is particularly serious among Roma women and young Roma. The project focuses on the needs of these groups in the municipality to raise awareness about their social rights and on existing and offered social services and opportunities for realization, increasing motivation and activation for self-organization and participation in local community development processes, acquiring knowledge about different institutions and skills for social orientation and acquiring different types of work skills for available professions in the municipality to enhance opportunities and inclusion in the labor market. The project is aimed at representatives of Roma communities in vulnerable situation in 6 settlements from the municipality - Isperih / incl. (the West) and the villages of Vazovo, Kitanchevo, Podayva, Bardokva and Dragomaj. The project proposal proposes an integrated approach to meeting needs and includes activities to improve access to available social services, information on their social rights, and enhance the skills of participants in the social implementation project. The project envisages activities for informing, activating and motivating the participants in the project for active inclusion in the labor market, activities for acquiring new professional skills and activities for providing opportunities for acquiring work habits, by providing subsidized employment in different structures of the municipal administration.
