Active inclusion and promotion of equal opportunities in Krumovgrad Municipality

Project "Active Inclusion and Promotion of Equal Opportunities in Krumovgrad Municipality" will improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and their families and improve access to social inclusion services to address the complex needs of people with disabilities to address the consequences of social exclusion and poverty, which in turn will make it possible for people who care for their disabled people to return to the real labor market. The activities for realization of the project are tailored to the specifics of the social environment and to the identified needs of the people from the target groups on the territory of the municipality. The project will create prerequisites for improving access to career development services and promoting labor market participation and re-employment of family members with children, disabled and disabled and at risk, as well as support for finding unemployed, inactive persons with permanent disabilities in working age with a view to overcoming their social isolation. The project will involve a mediator who will work to reach the representatives of the target groups. It will also be involved in encouraging labor market participation by dependents and improving access to employment for people with disabilities. Eight personal assistants will be involved in providing the social service "Personal assistant" to children at risk, incl. with disability and adults at risk, incl. disabled. A psychologist will be employed to motivate and supervise personal assistants. This project will build on and complement measures financed under the Human Resources Development Operational Program 2007-2013 and the Human Resources Development Operational Program 2014-2020 through the implementation of a new wider scope and spectrum of activities in the direction of providing integrated social services.
