Patronage cares for adults and persons with disabilities in the Municipality of Lovech

The project Patronage cares for adults and persons with disabilities in the Municipality of Lovech will be implemented through a procedure for direct provision of grants BG05M9OP001-2.040 Patronage cares for adults and persons with disabilities-Component 2 within PA2 Reducing poverty and promoting social inclusion according to the HRD OP2014-2020. The project provides for the provision of a new type of service on the territory of the Municipality of Lovech through the establishment of a network of health-social services in the home environment and is directed both to the direct users - elderly people and persons with disabilities, with chronical diseases and permanent disabilities, as well as those involved in the provision of care.Through the implementation of the project activities will be assisted persons living alone in the small settlements and unable to take care of themselves, in case of discharge of patients from hospital with a need for home medical care and persons with disabilities. Providing patronage care will ensure visits to a social assistant for daily and home assistance, and visits by a qualified healthcare provider to the homes of consumers, which will ease the need for a visit to a GP and medication delivery as well as medical manipulation.The provision of patronage care at home will be ensured through recruitment and appointment the necessary qualified medical and non-medical staff, staff training for the provision of services,purchase of transport equipment, equipment, provision of materials and consumables,and coverage of wage and social security costs for employees persons,as well as occupational medicine. The implementation of the project will ensure the provision of a qualitatively integrated health-social service for adults and persons with disabilities,which will achieve the implementation of an integrated approach to the care of elderly people unable to self-service and persons with disabilities with a clear social effect and impact.
