Patronage cares in the municipalities Smyadovo and Vetrino

The project proposal includes provision of hourly mobile integrated health and social services in a home environment for 50 disabled people and elderly people over 65 ages, in a partnership between two municipalities: Smyadovo municipality - candidate and Vetrino Municipality - partner. For the provision of the services, two mobile teams, in each of municipalities, will be appointed, which will provide the services according to a methodology for the provision of the patronage care and in compliance with the established quality standards for the service developed by the Ministry of Health under Component 1 under the “Patronage Care for the Elderly and Disabled”. For the needs of the mobile teams in the two municipalities, under the project is planned in Smyadovo Municipality to be repaired and equipped office for the mobile team, and for the needs of Vetrino municipality to purchase a vehicle. Experts providing mobile integrated health and social services in the home environment by both mobile teams will undergo specialized training under the program developed by the Ministry of Health. The project proposal is in line with the strategic documents for the development of social services in the two municipalities and has been developed in accordance with the requirements of the Managing Authority of the Human Resources Development OP 2014-2020. The implementation of the project proposal aims at creating a sustainable long-term model of providing patronage care, through which health care and medical surveillance are provided, and social support is provided in a home environment.
