Patronage care in the municipality of Sungurlare and the municipality of Sozopol

The Patronage Care Project in Sungurlare Municipality and the Municipality of Sozopol aims at improving the quality of life and the opportunities for social inclusion of the disabled and the elderly people from the municipalities of Sozopol and Sungurlare by providing hourly integrated health and social services (patronage care) for the elderly and the disabled, incl. with chronic illnesses and lasting disabilities in their homes. Support will be given to 67 persons / 31 in the municipality of Sozopol and 36 in Sungurlare municipality / each of them can use up to 2 hours of health and social services per day. In order to secure their needs in each municipality will be taken care of by a team of employees and specialists, including medical persons, rehabilitator, psychologist, driver, social worker, housekeepers. Two means of transport will be bought to bring the teams to the needy citizens. Buying a vehicle stems from the specificity of transport accessibility in both municipalities. Materials and supplies will be provided to provide health care. The services will be provided within 12 months. The total cost of the project is BGN 201 728.48.
