Patronage care for the elderly and disabled - Gorna Oryahovitsa Municipality

Providing affordable, high-quality, sustainable services for the elderly at risk and people with disabilities is one of the effective tools to improve the quality of their lives and their full inclusion in society. The implementation of the project will improve the quality of life of vulnerable groups as well as access to social services in the community by introducing complex actions on the territory of Gorna Oryahovitsa Municipality. The activities are of great importance for the municipality, because for the elderly and people with disabilities there are no prospects and opportunities for re-socialization, the alternative services are not developed and they rely only on their relatives. In this connection, they will be events to launch an innovative integrated social and health service through mobile teams, thus providing the necessary social services for the vulnerable groups in the municipality. Persons from the target group will receive psychological counseling and support. Training and staff supervision activities will ensure the development of staffing capabilities providing quality services. Buying a vehicle, as well as mobile medical equipment, materials and consumables, will contribute to achieving a high quality of the services provided.
