Patronage care for the elderly and disabled with the Elhovo Municipality

The project proposal is aimed at providing integrated health and social services at home (patronage care) to elderly people over 65 with limited or inability to self-service, as well as to people with disabilities and their families, people. Employees will be hired to serve the needs of the city of Elhovo and the villages of the municipality, thus increasing the social activity and the employment of unemployed persons, as well as of family members engaged in the care of persons with disability. In order to ensure equal access to the provided health-social services and in the small settlements in the Municipality it is envisaged to purchase a car through which the visits of the staff to the homes of the users are carried out. The lack of regular daily public transport to the small settlements in the municipality and, at the same time, the identified needs of the users require the purchase of a means of transport to ensure the mobility of the services.
