Patronage care in Zavet Municipality and Tsar Kaloyan Municipality

The project "Patronage Care in the Municipality of Zavet and the Municipality of Tsar Kaloyan" is aimed at improving the quality of life and opportunities for social inclusion of people with disabilities and elderly people in Zavet Municipality and Tsar Kaloyan municipality by providing hourly integrated health and social services at home environment and building adequate physical and staff capacity for the provision of services. To define the specific users of integrated health and social services in the home environment, a thorough analysis and assessment of the needs of each candidate user (social and health) is envisaged. The quality of the service provision envisages a training of medical specialists and specialists in the field of social services, which will be conducted in accordance with the Methodology and the program for the provision of patronage care, prepared by the Ministry of Health under Component 1 of the “Patronage of Elderly and persons with disabilities.” The provision of hourly integrated health and social services in the home environment will take place on the territory of all locations in the Zavet and Tsar Kaloyan municipalities, in total ten locations, thus giving greater visibility and information about the opportunities opened to disadvantaged people, namely to provide access to social and health services, improve their living environment, overcome social exclusion and reintegrate them into the local community. At the same time, the implementation of the project will provide employment for 12 months to people from Zavet Municipality and Tsar Kaloyan Municipality.
